Meet the instructor: Courtney MacPHerson
A Hartford native, coffee fanatic, outdoor enthusiast, and country music fan, Courtney has a lot of hobbies, but the thing that gives her purpose in life is fitness. In the spring of 2021 she graduated with her degree in Exercise and Sport Science with a Nutrition minor.Courtney believes that fitness is something that is meant to be enjoyed, not used as a punishment. She is constantly adding to her toolbox with formats, exercises, and even playlists to make sure that your workout is something you look forward to in your day.
She currently holds certifications in AFAA Group Fitness, Barre Above Level 1 and 2, Barre Above with Pilates Focus, Pumped up Strength, Musicality Method, HIGH Fitness, Balletone, Studio Sculpt, and Foundations of Functional Flow Yoga. Additionally she is CPR, First Aid, and AED certified to ensure that your safety and care is her number one priority. Courtney's positive attitude paired with her high energy is sure to brighten your day and put a smile on your face!
